Session 16

Party Level 5

  • Following the Cartographer's instructions, the party explores a lonely tower in the forest. The place is defended by constructs and undead.
  • In the cellar of the tower, the party discovers a necromancer performing a ritual. The villain summons an undead beholder, and then escapes.
  • The party defeat the undead beholder, and loot the tower. They discover some clues that are useful for their quest.

Session 15

Party Level 5

  • The party returns to Palma Flora, with their newly aquired ship, the Pully's Bane.
  • Travel to Port Damali. The PCs seek out the Cartophile, a gnome and a map-maker.
  • The Cartophile sends them on a quest to a nearby tower to recover the lost journals of Biltixx Ironspark, an explorer and artificer specialized in gates to other planes and extradimensional spaces.

Session 14

Party Level 4

  • The party explores the pirate's lair. they meet with the ghost of a girl that was sacrificed by the pirates to their dark god.
  • Fight against bugbears. The party frees several prisoners.
  • Fight against acolytes and the pirate captain, who summons evil aberrations in the name of an arch-demon called Lord Pulgasaur.

Session 13

Party Level 4

  • Arrival at Palma Flora.
  • Meeting with another crew. Some of their members have been kidnapped by pirates. The captain offers a reward to the party if they rescue them.
  • Party goes to pirates' lair. When killed, one of the pirates turns into a gibbering mouther.

Session 12

Party Level 4

The party leaves Syrinlya aboard the Bilious Mermaid, bound to Port Damali to the south. During the month-long voyage the PCs learn a few skills from the crew, like navigation or carpentry.

A few days before reaching their destination, the ship is attacked by a band of deep ones, murderous amphibious humanoids. The PCs repel the attack, but several crewmembers are kidnapped, and the ship suffers some damage.

The captain decides to make a stop at the port of Palma Flora.

Session 11

Party Level 3

The PCs gain access to the orc warchief 's rooms, where they fight against him, two guards, a shaman, and two wargs. They defeat them all, and leave an intimidating message written in the blood of their enemies behind. Surely the remaining orcs will be too scared to keep following them!

The party finds a secret passage that leads them deep underground, to an ancient tomb. After solving a riddle, they uncover the location of a magical axe. Having investigated the tomb, the PCs proceed to another tunnel, eventually finding their way outside, and making their way back to Syrinlya.
